either they did it like jackasses and were lying down on teh tracks, which I dont think is the case,

or they did it like smart ppl and had teh camera on a special mount as the put it down in the beginning, all it had to do was do a 180 degrees and then lift up..or be lifted up manually by someone..

They left the camera in the middle of the track and they had a special tripod that had a lever attached to it, they stood beside the tracks and moved the lever to change the angle of the camera.

did the train run over the lever or was it a remote one. or a timed one :)

Well, it was a remote controlled cam.
