it was horrible…even worst then horrible..,.our artists,especially belonging to punjab side dont know how to dress and talk according to the situation..i noticed few bahawalpur cows which r as follow

madiha shah:i thought she jumped into the pool of red powder or a few year girl would have done much better make up then her…she was too much happy when jawad was singing tht i thought she would kiss him…

keera(meera),this “under pressure from bollywood GIRL” started english then realised tht gora people would be doing suicide,so she started speaking urdu,which i m sure tht maulvi abdul haq would be calling names to himself why he worked so hard for the better future of urdu..future is bride when meera will speak right…she seriously needs to join any school,not any peela school

kareema(reema),it is rightly said tht majority of punjabi girls r beautiful untill they open their muth.she needs urdu classes ..lol

khopia(sofia),another example of modernize paki girl…she could have dressed mucb better according to the situation…but she thought afrdi is coming so.. agay app log khud hi laga lo..

maila(laila),she was sent directly to the stadium by bubble gummers?..or she thought mahesh bhaat would be here and would impressed by seeing her extremely idiotic dressing…

there was another filmi “heroin” who i thought was born in newyork,raised in canada and now teaching english somalia university…

there were some other loser westernize roshan khayal ENGLASH women…i wonder wht our women want to become..this is the question for every women here who support such women..

after so many bad things,there ws even more worst thing,yes commentory,commentary was really of “professional” level… like “aur yeh six mara aur four hogia”“bara accha shot aur out ho gaye”..i thought the guy felt from the seat..

ptv could have organised this match in karachi as i think it would be 100 times better then lahore…no offence to lahoris…afterall,lahore lahore hai

It's really sad to see people making huge judgements about ethnicity from some stupid cricket match. The women in the Lahore industry are just not a bad thing for Punjab, but for Pakistan as a whole. The models, I'm sure would fare much better, and there are actually a few sensible and articulate women in there.

^^ I agree. When it comes to music industry Lahore has given a lot more in the musical front than other cities. Junoon the biggest band from Pakistan hails from Lahore. The current hearthrobs Jal, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, Noori, Abrar, Najam all from Lahore so some stupid match played between actresses should not be a used to judge the people of a city.

^^ Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad etc. have all contributed hugely to the entertainment scene in Pak. Islamabad gave us Vital Signs, who actually got the ball rolling, not to forget Haroon/faakhir who're doin so well today. Karachi had Nazia/Hassan, the pop pioneers and Strings who actually set the ball rolling for the rebirth of Pak pop after the mid-90s stagnation. Nizar Lalani, who in my opinion is one of the best composers we currently have, is also based in Karachi. They're all doin a fab job and may God bless them all.

I am neither racist nor i give a $hit about ethnicities but these are comments from a typical Karachi bhayya. I have heard this so many times(mainly from karachiites) that Lahoris are paindus, lahoris uneducated, backward etc etc on the basis of their URDU accent.

Unforunately the same hypocrites cry out loud when called kut kut and bud bud by goras because of ENGLISH accent. They will call them racist bas***** etc.
Karachi and lahori rivarly makes the matter even worse but we can always keep this as constructive competition rather than ugly rivarly.

I don’t think people like Guy1 care too much about singing, bcoz they spend their lives picking on accents.
Don’t you know that Noori, Abrar, Jal, Ali Zafar etc have all Punjabi accents when they speak Urdu, how can they be great singers???

Not true. Noori and AZ def dont have Punjabi accents, though that doesn’t necessarily mean that its a good thing. All these insecure nuts are just falling for whatever this jerk Guy1 wanted. It’s a shame. We love to show the rest of the world the bunch of idiots we are by washing our dirty laundry in public.

I am not saying other cities having contributed I mentioned the contribution of big ones from Lahore. Junoon and Abrar have sold more albums then any other artist in Pakistan and they both hail from Lahore, not to forget the musical genius Meekal Hasan who also hails from Lahore. The point is just dont judge the city and the people of a city by some film actresses and their accent of english.
