I found this at indiafm and I cannot believe that Hrithik Roshan won the best actor award for DHoom 2. First of all he is nothing but crap and that movie was nothing but trash. Where does this guy get the nerve of buying awards? I noticed that he only does one or two movies a year and in 2005 to the best of my knowledge he didn’t do any movies. So obviously he didn’t win the best actor award in 2006.
I think they should just give the best actor award to Hrithik Roshan and he should be the only nominee for this category. Why bother having other nominess when we all know that he is going to buy the award:hoonh:
Also does anyone know if they have already showed filmfare awards in USA cause apparently I missed them. (not that it would be fun watching knowing that they are not always fair). :grumpy:
I agree Dhoom2 was not as good as the first one, i think that Hrithik's acting was good - he is a good actor, but looks-wise i think he's not manly enough.
if you dont already know, all award ceremonies are rigged! in every show they have to honour amitabh bachan, and yash raj chopra... not just that its the same people that attend the shows, to that reason Aamir khan never attends these ceremonies! he only attended oscars back in lagaan days... these award ceremonies are just to please the bachans and the khans... otherwise you are right dhoom 2 was CRAP! gangster in my opinion was far more superior! atleast it had a good story to it...
Hrithik did not just get Best Actor for Dhoom2 but his other movie Krrrish got like several awards and I think this movie did not even deserve to be nominated. So in whichever category Krrish movie was nominated. It won that award! Now that's not a coincidence, is it? Takla baap Roshan peta nehi kaya samjhta hai khud ko... he has no personality and Hrithik doesn't either.
Some of the parts that I did like about the award ceremony were Sridevi's dance to her songs and Amrita Rao's dance to the 60's songs. I also liked the part when Javed Akhtar and Jaya Bachan won the awards for lifetime achievement. I think they deserved it. I love Javed Akhtar as a lyricist.
Saif Ali Khan deserved every acting award for his work in Omkara. He was not even nominated for best actor, and Shahrukh was nominated twice for his crap work in Don and KANK. That is exactly why I hate Filmfare awards.
Also, kareena and karisma's gowns were simply Blah!...they looked absolutely crap in the outfits...Kareena looks bony after shedding weight..while karisma appears to be anorexic...They have merged the line between being slim and looking nice and healthy and being anorexic and looking crap.
One thing i didn't get was how they nominated Hrithik in the best actor category and not Saif when they both played negative characters. I am not saying Hrithik shouldn't have won, but atleast BE CONSISTENT and nominate Saif in the same category. SRK nominations were funny... seems like they like to please the stars rather than giving awards to deserving actors.
