I’m sure most of you have gotten a chance to see the latest improvements in the pak film industry. If you dont have a clue, tune into cinemascope on prime (i’m sure ary has some filmi shows too), and get clued in!
Do you think that the progress being made is revolutionary progress? Do you think that there is more experimentation and progress going on in the film industry today, or do you think the tv industry (dramas, tv shows, comedies, etc) are still in the lead when it comes to variety and creativity. I mean to say…is the tv industry more stagnant right now than the film industry?
Take into account film productions like YDAKH, Chalo Ishq Larain, Tere Pyar Mein, Mujhe Chand Chahiye, Sharaarat, Ladki Punjabun, Choorian, Laaj, Pehla Sajda, Fire, Pyar Hi Pyar Mein, etc.

have they started using better quality videao-reals? or is still recycled plastic on which they are recording?
Yes, but is technology really the Pak film industry's biggest problem? Or is it just general bad quality, and lack of understanding of what a film is...?
technology problem in pak filmz u guyz made it, how come thoze bollywood moviez alwayz have good quality, 'cuz we(pakixtani) don't buy our lollywood filmz we just wanna watch thoze bollywood filmz we give our money to bollywood n bollywood ppl use dat money to make good qualities filmz. how come lollywood ppl can make the good qualitiez filmz w/out money....think guyz
this thread is going off topic , cuz it was meant to compare tv progress to film progress (that is change in quality, not the magnitude of quality)
sorry I have been digging into my physics book lately
But its okay. I don't think money SHOULD be a factor in films, but it unfortunately is. The intelligent script writer , director, producer, actor will go to the medium where the money is good, and the reputation is decent. After Tere Pyar Mein, and Yeh Dil Aap Ka Hua, a lot of directors are coming into the film field, because they're seeing the possibility of making great money from films - better money than tv. Well, my opinion, anyway, I could be wrong.
However, I think the tide is turning. I see a bright future for the film industry, but I'm uncertain about the future of tv...
