thats not a big deal since we have copied aswell....like i have said before there films r very popular so u can easily spot the copy version...humari films agar popular hoti tou humare directors bhi yehi ker rahe hotey (well i dont mind it)...bohat se indian singers ne humari films ke liye ganay gaye but they never got recognition since the films didnot work out (apart from 1 or 2) but even in them i didnot hear their names being mentioned!!!!!!!....if our singers r not happy n they shudnot accept offers from india....i dont know whether atif, rahat etc were/werenot appreciated by the music directors (not seen them saying anything agianst our singers yet) they r very popular in india now and are neraly like a hearthrobes..........
The big deal is that they copy..and don't even give credits and portray themselves as talented, creative and good...you can't be any of those if you copy stuff. Its ok to get inspired and even chalo copy but then show it as you're own even when dil mein chor hai then it becomes a masla! if they're ok with copying then they should be fair enough to admit that they have copied it thats all.
Even when music directors use songs of Atif and NFAK etc rather then saying/admitting and giving credits to them they take the whole credit and even show that they gave chance to the singer and not that they used his piece and thats why its a hit and they made him sing it..
Exactly! it's bollywood that claims to be the next big thing not us. How come it claims to be a strong competitor for hollywood, when it can't even make one original film ??? . Despite being a small struggling industry, we made khuda ke liye which is an original work of art . I won't be surprised if gets plagiarized by bolly people.
bolly films claim originality but they're all ripped form hollywod/lollywood and various other sources. Plagiarism is far more rampant in their industry. Even if we take just one example of NFAK,you can write a whole book on the number of tunes they've lifted from him but they were never acknowledged.
Udhar ki zindagi(1994) was copied from Pakistani drama Kasak(1992).
Kasak was a tremendous play. beautifully written by Haseena Moin and superbly acted by artists like Rubina Ashraf and Jahanzeb Gorchani. But it's sloppywood copy was so bad!!!!bongi acting directionless action and over-the-top dialogues. sahi hai nakal ke liye bhi aqal chahiye(nahi hai to ulu say udhar le lo).
