Filling Applications in PDF

Does anyone know of a software I can use to fill out (write text on) PDF applications? I know some PDF application files allow you to fill them out by simply clicking in the spaces and typing, but this one won’t…and I think I’ve heard something about a software that can allow you to type on PDF files.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Oye pal, save yourself some sweat. Print it and fill it out.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Get your little brother to fill it out for you :p

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Oh yea I might as well get a monkey to fill it out he has even worse handwriting than I do!

Look I'm sure there's some sort of software that allows you to type on PDF file, right?

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Adobe Acrobat Pro would work. Photoshop would also but then u'd have to turn it back to pdf so u'd need acrobat still.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

PDF --> Word Doc --> Back to PDF

this is what I'd do

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

^ You can open PDFs in Word?

Tofi - What exactly is Adobe Acrobat? Is it similar to photoshop?

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

emmm.... not quite. You can get PDF --to--> Word (.DOC) converters. Acrobat Pro can for example. Usually output is no way like the original.

Acrobat Pro is a .pdf viewer, creation and some limited editing application from Adobe.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

You will have to install Adobe Acrobat (not the reader)
but then again, you bro wont like it :smack:

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Yea he always gets mad if I download stuff without asking his permission first. :bummer:

Well I will just tell him it’s for school ka kaam and maybe he won’t mind. :phati:

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Acrobat 7.0 Pro all the way.

That will do the conversions.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Okay now the question is, how do you get your hands on it? :hmmm:

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Oh, it’s not free? :bummer:

rrgghh forget it. I’ll just do it on an old-school typewriter or something. I hate computers. :grumpy:

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

free is not the problem, size is.. :halo:

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

you can do it in Adobe Acrobat Pro. But again its a pain if that document was never created in editable mode. You have to create your own text boxes to write in.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

if you have acrobat pro you dont need to a conversion. Simply stick the pdf into form creator.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Try using: CutePDF :: Product :: CutePDF Form Filler

Works quite well. Download and use the evaluation version (on the left, under “Download Now”). Since it’s an evaluation version, it has limited functionality, but it does the job of filling and saving pdf files.

Also, once installed, use the “Save As” feature on the top right hand side of the application to save info to your computer.

Re: Filling Applications in PDF

Its not the size that matters, its how you use it :snooty:
