Just attach it like you would any other file.
Click Attach, browse to file you want to attach within email. Find it, click open. It will attach the file within your email and then proceed as you normally would with any email.

Are you using a web bases (gmail, hotmail) email or any Email client, like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail?
If then its easiest to just drag the file and drop it in the New email window, for all web based email services. You can choose to attach a file from the to of the window. There should be a link.
