i guess no matter whatever you do he'll keep it in his heart. better to ignore it and clarify it some other time if he brings it up by simply saying that i did it in anger and wanted you to feel the same way i feel when you say these kind of things about me.
Why should should he forget it? Na muh koltha aur nahi muh khulwatha.

Time...time is the best healer.
Just try to be nice to him and understand him. I think he's just really frustrated because its been too long that you have been apart. With him not coming here and also not being able to communicate with you...he may have seen your job as something that was pulling you away from him. Another barrier.
One thing that has me really baffled though................he took money from you. He should be giving you money....why did he need to borrow money if he is a well educated guy?

Don't leave your job at all....in practical life men are more insecure in Pakistan and Middle East cultures. They take family pressures and hurt wife....

at first i thought it was maybe just a whatever job, and it was just your decision to work but damn girl, making that much money and you decided to marry somebody of this thinking?? i cant stand it, in this day and age, they decide to marry girls of western upbringings and still impose these olden day standards???

I suggest going to saudia/pakistan and spend some time with him before investing in him.
I hope the marriage stays intact and your husband gets blessed with some common sense on how to deal with his wife.

i know you must be really upset after hearing all this from your husband but i want to tell you one thing its very easy to destroy your home and get a divorce but it takes years to change a man and make a home. it is really frustrating for a man to be away from his wife specillay just after 3 weeks of marriage. but you have to realize that once he comes to US, i am sure he will not be happy with your schedule specially when you have to work that late, i am a working woman too , my husband doesnt have any problem with my job but when i come home before him and he sees me at home waiting for him i can se the happiness on his face. so these are things that you have to keep in mind..its a woman who makes the home and have to do a compromise...divorce is an option whne things gets out of control. rest the inlaws thing let him think whatever he thinks , most women talk about their MIL's to their husband who cares dont ruin your house because of them just be nice to them if you can otherwise dont even bother.
