Saw news on tv that Misbah and Hafeez fought and argued during practice session today.
Anyone has any details?

There's no smoke without fire and there was perhaps a bitter argument between Misbah and Hafeez (mind you they don't always have to agree with each other on everything!) but the media as usual added masala to it and made it seem like a major 'clash' between the two.
Ofcourse PCB (or any board) won't openly admit it in public (even if there was a fight between the two). Good thing that they have taken timely notice. The PCB should atleast check who leaked/leaks the in-side affairs to the media
Nothing can ever be ruled out in Pak cricket, too many egos flying around and this current odi team is full of it .... Afridi, Malik & Akmal brothers, perhaps even Younis, Misbah and Professor
Hope this doesn't impact the team's ODI performance

True. And the key for PR officials is to maintain a fine line between "sharing information on a need to know basis" and the blatant manufacture of lies to cover up news leaks. When a cover up is being put together, seldom does one escape the obvious which is the hint of a lie.
While the approach to say that there is nothing serious is actually good medicine for those involved as well, since it is highly likely that they were pulled to the side for going a little too far any way, and by officially declaring that it was a minor issue, they actually would strengthen the very same thought.
