yeah, you're right. he did do some good work as well. he was part of the old school where quality mattered not quantity.

oh yeh one more i remember..ismael tara is a doctor..majid guy comes and shows him the Xray…ismael tara looks at it and starts to get mad at him..he goes something like "aapko sharm nahi aati…yeh dekhain lungs per kitni nicotin bethi wi hai..aap tv/radio par ads nahi dekhtay/suntay..govt kitna samjhanay ki koshish kerti hai k ciggarette bohut buri hoti hai aapki health k liye lekin phir bhi aap logo per kuch assar nahi parta blah blah blah..phir majid takes the xray back and yells at him “abay tu kiya bol raha hai..yeh Xray meri 6 months ki beti ki hai” lol
i saw it almost 4 years back on PTV but still remember some of the jokes! i loved that show :D

there was a character, Uncle Urfi who had this famous line, "chaku hai chaku, mar doun ga mar doun ga". Which program was that from. 'Cuz as I kid I would comming running home after school just to watch him say that. It used to come in the afternoons.
