Big day for host Brazil to wipe off the embarassment that was caused by the hand of Germans in semifinal when they lost 7-1.
They are going to play against second semifinalist losers Netherlands who lost on penality kicks against Argentina.

I’m hoping South Americans to atleast save it and let the fans cherish for them.

Dutch on the other hand are no doubt a good team but I don’t wana see crying brazilians again :slight_smile:

The whining Rummel dives in the D and gets a penalty kick in the 37th minute. Make that 1- 0. After that each team scores a goal.

3rd position encounter in Soccer WC is a cruel joke to both teams...

NL and Brazil, pls boycott the useless match today to bring an end to this brutal FIFA tradition.....

today's match is nothing but a plain joke.....poor players are not in the right mindset....their hearts are broken.....

it is a useless match..I mean how much us us remember who won the 3rd position match in last 3 WCs? who cares

Those who won the bronze medal won the 3rd place match in the last 3 WCs. Don't recall who won in prior WCs.

Uncle jee..for selfish people like me it is a great past-time for 2 hours....

but then soccer WC is not an event only....it is a life, honor, pride, passion, flamboyance, junoon, dream, blood, tears.........everything

and when you lose the semifinals, you lose all of above.....

imagine as a player what you go through

and then you expect those players to come out and play a useless match....so that FIFA can some more gate money.

I agree with you.

I would like to think though that the bronze may mean something to the players. In the immediate aftermath of a loss, they are devastated. But after 3 to 4 days, I hope they get their hunger back.

Want to see Rommen get his ash handed to him. Great player though. What stamina.

Issiliye aapse kaha gaya hai ke har post aur thread ko dhyan (gaur) se padhiye, digest (hajam?) keejiye. Na jane kaunsi post mein aise raaj chupen ho. Especially brother PD ke post pe focus karein.

seriously their is nothing like a soccer WC..............nothing

it truly brings the whole world together.........

it means a lot to everyone.....and more so for players

i doubt these hugely type A players care about bronze once they lose the semifinals....

Its funny I just read Robben is just 30. He looks like 60 by face. :hmmm:
