actually we would have done a lot better if they encouraged rec players in the local makrani teams to come out and try out for national squad. limiting the talent pool further for a sport that does not have many participants makes the team what it is.

One thing that is common in soccer teams of Pakistanand Netherland is their improvement. Both teams have improved their rankings. There are other countries who now play better like Turkey and Sweden.
A combination of Marco van basten (as coach) and Ruud van Nistelrooy as key striker was enough for the Dutch to ensure success. It is now almost 15 or more games, Dutch are unbeaten. They defeated Czech Republic, Romania, Finland. They held their games against Germany and England. They currently stand at 2nd position in the rankings and they have ensured their place in next years World Cup, which they will (likely) begin as favorites alongwith Brazil, Italy and Germany.
