FIFA is the biggest joke in professional sports in terms of how they run the league and this World Cup has exposed them. I'd expect the fallout from the number of bad calls in terms of faulty cards given and legitimate goals disallowed will force these dinosaurs to change. It's a shame their stubbornness didn't allow for it before.

utd not going to happen, the politics in FIFA are such that they make a couple of countries look like the bad guy and then get support from a bunch of little guys who have chips on their shoulder and thus keep these dinosaurs in place. sepp blatter has said pathetic stuff which would have caused anyone to be asked to step down but he dances around it because the country he slammed maybe a major player but he can whip up enough opposition to them that their grievances mean zilch. in the wings we have platini, someone who was a dick as a player and has only become worse as a paper pusher

News coming from FIFA today is that they've had a change of heart and are now to consider goal line tech. more to follow in the coming days.

My children and I had a huge discussion about ref's/linesmen, they came to the conclusion that the linesman did not see England's goal as he was busy picking his nose. I agree.
