Re: fiction?
Dude, this is not your religion.
Words of the Quran are powerful yes....liken all this other stuff that i mentioned ( and you know it does happen this very way)
Dude most people who have any sort of "power" from Allah swt will help there fellow man Fee sabeelilah!
What?
Re: fiction?
" Muslims ko har msaail ke liye sirf Allah **aur uss kay Rasul **se hi raju kerna chahiye"
That is a wrong statement. Just pointed out for clarification of others with the same belief.
Re: fiction?
Indeed that is wrong...The only entity that we should rely on is Allah SWT!
But indeed it should be noted that the Prophets are alive as is evident when the Prophet SAW went on Mairaj!

Yes Prophets are alive in their graves but not like us....their life in grave is different from ours and only Allah has knowledge of this. Also they can't help us.
Re: fiction?
^^ Agreed with Hareem 100%. respect of prophets is one thing, thinking that they are Mushkil Kusha is another thing (shirk, maybe)
Re: fiction?
Tariq Bhai and Hareem Behen, please read this lengthy detail if you find time:
http://www.sunnah.org/ibadaat/tawassul.htm#Seeking%20means%20(tawassul)%20through%20the%20Prophet
Also, from sunnipath:
http://qa.sunnipath.com/issue_view.asp?HD=7&ID=4767&CATE=24
I noticed that some of the links are broken on the sunnipath page.
Re: fiction?
Thanks ramyss bhai, I read a little of first link, will read it in full, later
But I am glad that you post that
Waseela (tawassul) is whole lot different then mushkil kusha. When I ask through Prophet's tawassul, I am still asking from allah, saying that ya allah, through waseela of your beloved prophet ....
Mushkil kusha is when you ask directly from Prophet (or wali)
Do you remember that qawwali
bhur day jholi meri ya muhammed
lot kar main na jaa'oon gaa khalee
now that is shirk
Re: fiction?
Yes, I do remember the Qawwali. I had the same confusion one time, but it was cleared up by someone. I don't have references, but here is a bit of detail. One of Hazrat Muhammad's (saw) names is "Qasim", which means "taqseem karnei wala." Allah (swt) blesses the Holy Prophet (saw) with treasures, which the Prophet (saw) then distributes among his Ummat. As I said, I don't have references at this time to back this up, but this is what I have learnt and this is what I believe in.
Another example on a much smaller scale - remember what Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya (ra) said about Hazrat Ali Hajveri (ra):
"Gunj Bukhsh-e-Faiz-e-Alam Mazhar-e-Noor-e-Khuda"
Naqisaan Ra Peer-e-Kaamil, Kaamilaa Ra Rahnumaa
The Gunj (treasure) that Hazrat Ali Hajveri (ra) has for the masses is from none other than Allah (swt).
WallahuAlam!!
Re: fiction?
You need to read the tashreeh of "bhar do joli meri ya Muhammed" to understand it!
I think any sane, thinking person (well mostly) knows that Allah SWT can only give!
Re: fiction?
anyone heard " zameen maily nahi hota, zaman maila nahi hota"
Another nice piece of work!
Re: fiction?
Brother Waseela is a different thing as Brother tariq said…I don’t agree with this statement(" Muslims ko har msaail ke liye sirf Allah **aur uss kay Rasul )**se hi raju kerna chahiye"
, do you?
