Fibonacci's Golden Ratio in regards to location of Kaaba

I liked the part about the human beings and how they are mathematically in the best formation which gives new meaning to;

“We have indeed created man in the best of moulds..” (The Noble Quran, 95:4)

This video is a MUST watch for ALL!

I guarantee you will learn something new!

Re: Fibonacci's Golden Ratio in regards to location of Kaaba

Immediate annoyances/observations with this video:

The narrator is trying to put on a very posh accent, but you can tell English is not his strong point. Let alone names of the Qur'anic chapters and the worst part ... 1 point 618 ... that is not right.

It is approximately 1.618 ... pronounced one point six one eight not one point six hundred and eighteen.

Furthermore, I am not convinced about the ratios on the Earth especially with regards to the 2D map.

I like the special effects, but I was seeking clarification and the significance of the golden ratio with Islam.

To find a pattern or a code is one thing ... but if it is a pointless thing then what's the point?

Re: Fibonacci’s Golden Ratio in regards to location of Kaaba

Peace psyah,

Salaam Bro!

U R very discerning… Hehehe!! Whether that’s good or bad? Hmm! Good, I think! I could never have picked his ignorance of DECIMALS… Goodonyer! And i didna go well with the “Posh” Anglais, but i liked da vid. It’s worth checking (see i’m just as cynical as U R) but if that’s true, then i will have to conside the oft repeated statement that Mecca (Makkah) is da center of the earth.

Da vid is just as impressive as

**Google Earth Proofs a Miracle of Prophet Muhammad

Re: Fibonacci's Golden Ratio in regards to location of Kaaba

hm...so i believe i am not the only one seeing 1*,*618......rigth?

it was very hard to understand that angerazi.

Re: Fibonacci's Golden Ratio in regards to location of Kaaba

I think Psyah point mainly is .. do we need scientific codes to prove that Kabaa is indeed the House of Allah. Pyramids of Egypt have lots of math associated with them, that does not make it the house of allah ..

and to be honest, I also had problem with his accent, the way he kept saying 1.618 and Kaba bieng center from 2D map perspective. That 2D map has no sientific significance. It is like that cause English people decided to make the Zero longitude pass the town of Greenwich.

:wsalam: brother Mithridates

I’m gonna see that video soon inshaAllah. It is so good to hear from you.

I have earned a reputation here for saying ‘peace’ all the time … but they don’t know that it was you who I have borrowed this from.

Please stick around … this forum will benefit from your insight and wisdom.

I also need to speak to you about a few things and shall tell you by Personal Message in time.

As for the subject of centre of the earth … I have no argument about this expression … it could well be Makkah, the only thing I’ll be arguing about is the chosen means of calculating such a thing.

The only way it can be done properly is to use ‘centre of gravity’ calculations on 3D surfaces. And one will have to make the assumption that land mass should be treated differently to water. In which case the Pacific ocean as the biggest water mass and all it’s adjacent waters will constitute the edges of the land mass. There is more to this method and although complicated it is better than the golden ratio for locating Makkah and then still calling it centre of the earth. Golden ratios are anything but centre … but hey !
