Re: fiance and inlaws have a problem with my wedding dress
I agree with SGC and LXXL and Gulnaar. Sometime ppl buy wedding dresses for 30K but they say they got it for 1lakh, some get it for 2 lakh and say its for 1 lakh. It depends on the situation and personality. It also depends on the family, I know in some families the bride buys her own wedding dress (the inlaw do not pay for it) and they buy her the valima dress, at this point the bride is free to do as she pleases. I'll give you my own example, I'm getting a Bunto, but I told my MIL that I'm getting a knock off. I know they wouldn't be able to buy me something that expensive for the Valima and I don't expect them too. So I lied, which isn't a good thing, but I don't want them to feel awkward or feel that there is a competition and I am the only daughter in law so they want the best for me and I just don't want them to feel awkward. But then again I'm paying half for my wedding dress, as I do believe that she is pricey and I don't want to burden my father (he doesn't know the exact cost either, my mother is hiding it from him lol) hehhehehe Goodluck daisy I hope things work out for you Inshallah.
