FF and Windows 7

My taskbar decides to have a tiny fit when i open a new window or a tab in FF. Is this something to do with Win7 or FF? Like it flickers/flashes until i click on it and then it stops.

FYI I have the new version of FF, i actually switched from en-gb to en-us because i thought i clicked on en-us during installation  and it’s been happening a lot since then =/

Re: FF and Windows 7

A lot of people had issues with the new FF version…

Use Google Chrome…i find it to be a much better web browser…(sorry FF :naak:)

Re: FF and Windows 7

install 3.0.14 of FF.. thats much better, since then most of the FF is utter crap..

Re: FF and Windows 7

i’m too lazy to google old version of FF. Wanna find me a link? :faizy: 3.5.x wasn’t too bad. waisay would that be compatible with Win7?

maroushy meh i didn’t like chrome’s interface. There is this other not so well known browser, started with an A, it looked like that. it annoyed me then, and it annoys me now. Like i couldn’t find the home button!
Also, i like my add-ons. like just the other day i found another add on! it’s so cool! and unless chrome comes with adblock plus, i’m sticking with FF.

Re: FF and Windows 7

I am using FF 3.6 Beta 2

I dont have any flashing problem or a problem like near to that..

it can be some problem of your graphics drivers I guess but why only with FF no idea.

3.5 is where the problems started, too slow and resource consuming..

here you go for the older version.

Re: FF and Windows 7

It could be windows 7's indicator to tell you that another window/tab just opened up

Re: FF and Windows 7

No, it is FF, it doesn't have a good relationship with Win7.

Using FF 3.5.5 with Win7, no problem at all.

sometimes it’s the user…
