Since i have taken over as moderator i have noticed that at times more than one thread has been started on the same topic. Therefore from now on only one thread per topic will be allowed and any new topic started on an existing subject will be closed and merged with the current one.
Chilli’s suggestion to start threads on sports other than cricket is admirable. However, taking the French open as an example i think it would have been better if he had given info on the whole tournament and specially the mens and womens single, which are the main focus of any tennis tournament and not only the mens double, just because the Indians were in the finals. Good as that might be, the point should be to discuss the whole tournament and not focus on just one aspect. Also I would ask all participants to refrain from personal attacks. Any other suggestions would be welcome.

In case you missed, I did open a thread on Andre Agassi crashing out of the French Open. Sure enough it received ZERO replies.
Indian doubles pair doing well in the French Open is important news for Indian sports and should be of interest even to the Pakistanis (After all how many times have players from the subcontinent, as infact from 'Asia',made news in the tennis circuit ?)..
Sorry i probably did miss the Andre Aggasi posting, however zero replies should not discourage you from posting news you think is important. I have posted a few on hockey without replies and i had in mind to start on tennis during the upcoming wimbeldon tournament. I will also be posting on squash and snooker.
Your point about the subcontinent representation at the French open is well taken.
I agree with the rules which chilli had pointed it out in another thread. It is so annoying sometime to open a thread to find if there might be some new info and you find nothing but the same old story.
