niksik, I've been reading your threads on your sinuses like for ages now. Have you ever considered or has your doc ever mentioned this small procedure with which they (ENT docs) open up the small holes leading to your sinuses in order to ensure that any puss gets cleared more easily and that way the chance of infection decreases?
(presuming this is about your frontal/maxillar sinuses and not ethmoidal sinuses)
(also presuming your sinusites are mainly caused by anatomical dysfunction rather than an allergy or hyperreactivity)
NeSCio, I've had sinus issues since I was a kid. The last time I visited my ENT specialist, they told me that performing the surgical procedure you are talking about and another one will not necessarily correct the issue. He told me that my goal should be to avoid catching a cold because that's what ends up being a serious sinus infection.
I have gotten better over the years... I'd say only 2 episodes a year that last a few weeks. Before that it used to be a constant thing.
