I have heard a lot about fertility sticks but never used them. But now I am just planning to use it and I can’t help because I dont know which one to use and how to use…
Then I thought to buy it online but it confused me… it asked me for Catalogue and it gives different options like, Ovulation/Fertility test, Mix Pregnancy test+Ovulation/Fertility test, Ovulation Strip+Pregnancy Midstream, then its asking for the type, Strips, Midstream Strips or Strips+Midstream Sticks…
I am just confused, what’s midstream for? whats that?? Which one shall I use?
I have never heard of fertility kits or sticks either, so don’t really know what you’re talking about, but like njgal said, ovulation indicators are very common. They work like a home pregnancy test does. You pee on the stick and it measures LH level to predict when ovulation will occur.
A quick google search showed this:
***“Unlike drugstore tests, our super sensitive midstream pregnancy tests can be used just 6 to 8 days after conception (or 7-10 days after ovulation for those who are fertility charting) – days before your missed period. Pregnancy midstream tests detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone secreted by the developing placenta shortly after fertilization, at levels of just 20 miu/ml hCG.”
“The midstream ovulation kit is the easiest to use format to use for ovulation testing. These tests are great for couples that are trying to become pregnant.
With a high sensitivity of 25 mIU/mL (lower is better), a midstream ovulation kit can be used to detect ovulation surge, which occurs just before the best time to conceive.”
