I wore ferozi (turquoise) on my walima too, never wore that colour before and was surprised at how nice it looked in real life :)

^ Is brousha that "griP" type fabric? it has silky white embroidery imprinted into the fabric..?
brousha is like georgtte, with design (flowers) like in jamawar, but its not of that golden colour. its more like a self printed cloth. its the embroidery imprinted into the fabric but not silky.

yup, that is part of a set given to me by my MIL. the necklace looks like the bracelet. the earrings are very pretty, delicate jhumkas.
yup – that’s the tradition in our families – groom’s side makes the barat and valima dresses for the bride.

In case anyone needs the info -- the ferozi angharka is made by a woman named Safia who has a boutique in Karachi. The ferozi gharara was made by Shaheena @ Barka, in Defense, Karachi.
