Cousins or not, men are men.
My cousin hated me to death. Until once when we were teens( he hated me the most then) my mother pressured me to hug him. His personality completely changed after i hugged him and he became much nicer to me. When i did something which clearly before used to annoy him he would ignore it instead of making a scene and yelling at me.
I remember him checking me out the days following me hugging him when i wasn't looking and it turns out he had a crush on me since then.
