Things that can cause it:

synthetic fabrics and dyes-- wear only white cotton undergarments
too much sugar
antibiotics-- disrupts the natural ph of the vagina and causes an overgrowth of yeast
Among other things, but those are the most common.
Some women are just prone to these. If you are, your doctor might be able to prescribe you a revolving script for a certain oral medication. I take that for mine.

And it doesn't mean that you're dirty or loose or anything of the sort. It's not caused by sex or the lack of it either!

what??? once i remember my mom and sister were talking about some yeast infection in front of me cuz my sister had it I asked what it was and my mom was like it happens to only married women so u dont need to worry about it. So then I went and did some research on it on my own and found out what it was lol
