In western societies there are very easy mechanisms in place which people women can use to deal with harassment.
In Pakistan you have to devise a strategy to deal with it.
- If the person harassing you is in higher in rank then you specially if he is your boss and he is in the good books of his higher ups or he is connected in any way , you better ask for transfer to some other department or city or find another job.
- If the person is not in good books of his higher ups and he is not connected then talk to higher ups with some proof and some witnesses and he will be gone, they will be more than happy to get rid of that sucker.
- If the person who is harassing you is at the same level as you are then number 1 and 2 still apply.
- If you are also connected and are also in good books of the higher ups let this sucker know all this and he will find someone else to harass.
P.S: Unfortunately Suing someone for harassment is not an option in Pakistan.
