Well actually Mabrook it is a paraishani for the male cos no male would be hoping for a woman without a clitoris....i feel sorry for the girl cos she can not experience physical pleasure and i feel sorry for the guy cos you just aint gonna be able to pleasure that woman...
kuoon kia aap ki family main kisi ne ab tak aisa kia hai ya aap apni baiti ka kerain gayjo aap paraishan hain ?just leave it dude.fazool baat hai.
Mabrook...
fazool baat nain hain...the nature of mutilation is it makes intercourse a very uncomfortable process...thats fact...and it is important to both men and women to have good sexual relations...for both women and men this is lost...
So fair enough its not my issue but its an important issue never the less especially when it tends to take place in 'Islamic' countries where the misconcieved notion of mutilation being Islamic is pushed...hence why it is then a topic of discussion...
PP, showkot, when u choose ur wives, make sure that u get a good look at everything to c if they're being truly "islamic"
Who said that i was in favour of female circumsicion, it is only the Shafii school of thought which considers it to be fard. I follow the Hanafi madhab
There are different types of female circumcision around the world.. You need to differentiate between the mutilation types which Islam condemns (labia/clioris cut off) and the types which Islam allows (foreskin cut off).
The kind you mentioned where the labia and clitoris are cut off is definately unIslamic, it is not really circumcision but rather genital-mutilation..
The kind of circumcision Islam allows is where only the little bit of prepuce (foreskin) covering the clitoris is nipped not the clitoris itself (that would be unIslamic), it is exactly the same as male circumcision where the prepuce/foreskin covering the penis glans is cut off.
We need to get this straight that Islam condemns the forms of female “circumcision” where the labia/clit are cut off or where it is sewn up or where a cross is engraved into the clit but what Islam does allow is to nip the little bit of foreskin/prepuce covering the clitoris, this skin can cause problems in hot climates as it can grow quite long and give a “penis like” impression and there’s also the problem of smelly smegma (clit cheese? ) if the woman is not very clean.
However female circumcision is not compulsory the way male circumcision is, it is unheard of in most Islamic countries unless the prepuce has grown so big that it looks hideous, and it is hard for the husband to stimulate his wife there under all that skin.
Sexually satisfying ones wife is a religious obligation upon Muslim husbands, having sex with ones wife is a kind of worship and denying women sexual satisfaction is a sin so obviously cutting off her clitoris/labia would be sinful too because most women don’t orgasm through penetration but rather stimulating the clitoris.
