ISLAMABAD, Dec 20: On the occasion of her 55th birthday on Tuesday, National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza announced that she would donate her kidneys for transplantation “in gratitude for the honour the people of Pakistan had bestowed on her”.
A statement by her office said that Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation established by Dr Adeeb Rizvi would get her kidneys after her death. She expressed the hope that her step would set an example for others to follow.
Underlining the growing need for kidney donations, she said that organs’ donation helped save and improve lives of ailing patients.
Dr Mirza urged people to donate their kidneys for the ailing patients who desperately needed them.

I believe Fahmida MIrza and her husband have enough resources to build and run a Kidney hospital in Badeen... this project would earn them good-deeds and reputation both in this and after live...
Not impressive i would add, why because this is something even an average joe like me can announce, leaders and that is with such wealth should do better....
Lets see if she does it first. Don't believe a single thing a politician says.
She has pledged before Adib Rizvi, the expert urologist in Pakistan. The donation has been committed after her death. What this has to do with your above comments? Give credit where it is due.
