feet problem

Hiya

Hubby has a problem with just one foot…in between the toes it seems the skin dries up and cracks…now hes a very clean person alhumdulilah and so washes his feet regularly so its not due to sweat or hygiene issues…

It seems its due to the weather and that dries them up…hes been using cream on them but its not made much difference…anyone know any other treatment??

Re: feet problem

Maybe he's washing them too much and they are drying up. Try nivea cream... that has worked better for me than prescription cream.

Re: feet problem

u can use neem oil or tea tree oil..the problem will get better....!

Re: feet problem

Tabu, this could also be a condition called Athletes Foot. Its a fungal infection that occurs in moist dark places such as between toes. Its not serious but it can be contagious, they call it Athletes foot because its so easily spread in locker room showers where wet feet tread. There are over-the-counter medications like Tinactin that cure it. And to prevent itfrom re-occurring, its best to use a blow-dryer to dry between toes after showering.

Re: feet problem

my dad has similar problem . He uses petroleum jelly on it. However I don't advise any self medication. It's best to visit a dermatologist. It could be a fungal infection or anything !
