So, I was just wondering if anyone has ever fainted in a public place before? Did anyone help? Or have you helped someone who you saw was unwell?
I nearly passed out on the train this morning as it was way too packed and boiling hot. Luckily I was able to get off and get some fresh air before I actually did faint, but this made me think about what I would do if I was alone (luckily my sister in law was there) and this had happened to me, or if it happened to someone else around me.
i’m diabetic…one day, my sugar level fell below danger point and i started fainting. i was in a store when this happened. i had cell fone in my hand but i was so disoriented to make the 911 call. i yelled out loud to call 911. i was later told that at least 3 shoppers made the call. the store manager came to my help right away. i remember other shoppers doping all they could to make it easier on me. the ambulance with paramedics arrived…they took me to the hospital where i was checked out.
gave CPR to someone till ambulance arrived. Was told that i quite possibly saved her life. Her daughter was there but she was panicking like anything. This was on the way back from football game (5 a sides)
had a medicine interaction and fainted at work a few months ago, was feeling dizzy , got up and then fell wlth my chair, was out for porbably just a few seconds because people came running and got me up and I was disoriented, took me a minute to figure out what just happened.
The only time i passed out was in pakistan for a few minutes inside a mithaii shop during my last trip. It was a hot day and i just wasn’t used to all the heat … and no it had nothing to do with me seeing all the mithai. I think about 2-3 uncles came to my rescue bringing water/juice/chair and kept asking me if i was ok.
My wife and I were on our way home from someplace when we saw an older chap collapse on the walkway. I asked my wife to call 144 (which is the 911 here in Austria) and helped the guy, who was still concious, sit up slightly. Seconds before the ambulance arrived he did become unconcious but then it was up to the experts to help him out.
When we were in muzdalfah during hajj, a man collapsed and fell down. It was kind of scary, he was just reading his tasbeeh and in ihram, he fall down. We had a doctor in our group who looked at him and after a while he woke up.
