I’ve been feeling pretty restless these days because I’m not as busy these days as I used to be. I keep fidgeting and can’t stay still longer than a minute. Even when I try to sleep, the slightest sound wakes me up and now I cant sleep in one major chunk.
Meditate, and try to pin point what exactly is bothering you. Usually, people get restless when they have several worries. Some big and some small. Isolate the big one(s), and focus on the solutions.
Sounds like you're stressed out if you're restless or can't sleep. Try some strenuous activity like running or other cardio/strength workouts. Kickboxing and weights are good to do. It's good to burn off energy and may boost your body chemistry to lift your spirits. Or to wind down do some yoga and meditation. These will help calm you and help you focus on your mind.

Ditto :)
Theres always a reason Humsa. Take Faisal Bhais advice.
I figured out 2 reasons why I was feeling restless. One i dealt with yesterday and today with the second one. And to be honest, I'm feeling miserable now instead of restless. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I WANNA BE 14 AGAIN. I HATE GROWING UP. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT
Humsa, alhamdulillah I'm a very calm person but recently for a few months I've been like this too, I see my whole person in decline and I've shocked my ownself with my behavior.
I realised that the only solution to this is self discipline and turning to Allah swt for strength.
I want to start reading the Quran in depth and applying it to my life. I'm starting a Halaqa for guppies, maybe you want to join? The link for the thread is in my signature.
I think turning to Allah swt is the only solution. Wish you the best of luck :)
Yea Irem i've started praying again (not perfectly or punctually but it's a start) and ahhh hopefully i'll pick up the Quran again.
And sorry no offense but I was never the one to attend Halaqas. I would rather read the Book and try to understand it on my own.
