entering the zen zone isnt hard really. one thing that helped me was keeping in touch with my husband in between despite everyones attempts to keep us busy elsewhere. my girlfriends managed to sneak him in with me after the nikah nama was signed thanks to my brothers’ help. so we spent an hour together in my room destressing basically while the house was in havoc in preparation for the evening dinner reception of sorts. its important to keep grounded like that i think that really helps. i remember when we sat down together in my room i was so stressed abt something a nund had said the day before that in discussing it and in removing my jhoomar at the same time i got it horribly tangled in my hair and then just gave up. he had to step in and calm me down!

haha aw poor thing, that’s adorable though! yeah, he’s coming tomorrow so hopefully that’ll calm me down a bit. It’s just so hard to keep up with all the preps, the pressure of the two families coming together, and knowing that this is such a big step.

Sohni- Lol yeah it’s definitely cold feet, I just never thought that women went through it. The media always shows men having nervous break downs lol.
