When your kid gets hurt, gets a ‘boo boo’, obviously you tend to him/her, but do you at times wish/want to feel his pain to administer appropriate amount of love and attention?
In other words you know the kid is hurt but dont know/cant tell how hurt he/she really is.
Re: Feeling Pain- A question for parents
Yar GP I'm not a parent but I've heard some parents wish things like that. They would rather take their kid's trouble/pain themselves and would like to see him/her happy.

awwwwwwwwww so true
Re: Feeling Pain- A question for parents
Safia had bad colic and allergies when she was a newborn. She screamed and tightened her body in pain for hours. It was heartbreaking. We as parents didn't know if she was really in bad pain or this was just 'fussiness'. It was really hard to go through that.
