I was clearing up the bookshelves when suddenly I felt hot flashes…my wrists, face, back and feet were like on fire. There was no sweat and my body temperature was normal. I felt dizzy and sat down but it’s happening again…after each hour’s gap. What is causing it and what shall I do?
Re: Feeling Hot
I just googled and it says if it happens to young women it means something's wrong with the small gland in their brain. It's called pituitary gland. OMG I'm freaked out now. :(
Re: Feeling Hot
could it be high blood pressure?
Re: Feeling Hot
I hope you're feeling better now, don't read too much on the internet. Get your blood pressure checked in any local pharmacy and book an emergency appointment with your GP. In the meantime, eat lots of fresh fruits and stay relaxed.
Best wishes.
Re: Feeling Hot
have you had enough water in the past few days? dehydration can cause the body temp to go haywire .. and even anaemia can cause this ... best bet is to go to your GP if this condition persists ..
Re: Feeling Hot
Thank you Jolie.
CB, I'll go to my GP if it happens again.
Re: Feeling Hot
could it be high blood pressure?
I doubt it but I'll get it checked anyway just to be on the safer side.
Re: Feeling Hot
has you bin doing yoga? coz this is what the fakers (no muzna, before you jump up and down, this is not a cuss word) call an unexpected kundalini awakening.

Is that like opening your 3rd eye?
Re: Feeling Hot
do you feel shivery at all when it happens??
Re: Feeling Hot
were you lifting/moving heavy things from the bookshelves?
do not ignore it even if it doesn't happen again.. just book an appointment and get it checked out and don't trust google on this.. and until then don't stress over it.

no just dizzy and nauseous.

Yeah I moved two heavy bookshelves....but it happened last night again. I was reading a book for 2 hours and when I closed the book I started feeling dizzy again and really hot too. Could it be that I'm constantly reading for hours and not getting enough sleep and food?
