Unfortunately most of the workers are paid unfairly here in this country. The bulk of the profit goes into the pocket of the owner. And they force their workers to ask for tip like beggars.
Moreover, the waiter serving you at your table is an insult to a human being (at least I think so). The self serving resturants like KFC and Macdonalds are better in this respect.
KFC and McDonalds are not resturants, they are fast food joints. Every resturant has workers, who cook, clean and serve their customers. Otherwise, it is nothing but cooking forzen food.
Bulk of profit always goes to the pocket of the owner. I don't know how unfairly they are treated in Pakistan, but there is a reason they are working there, to pay their bills, put their kids through college and other things. You are in a way helping the country as long as you show balance in spending. If you really hate the way waiters are treated, may be just order salads and give these waiters big tip.
