Her bridal dress with the chata patti at the lehenga border looks more appropriate for mehendi/mayun as does the second dress in orange and pink/green. Good luck to her though hope she has a happy life ahead of her.

Who makes this decision about what's "appropriate" to wear on a shadi, walima, mehndi etc? Maybe to her this was appropriate and I guess that's why she wore these outfits on her big day. It's one thing to criticize the clothes, but saying what she wore was inappropriate on her own wedding is just insensitive IMO.
I may not agree with her choice of clothes, but it's good to see that she chose to go with relatively simpler outfits, even if she could afford the most exquisite outfits.

I'm sorry but even if you did a nationwide poll where you asked people whether they'd wear orange/hot pink to thei mehendi or barat everyone I know would opt for mehendi. ditto for pastels on walima. I've yet to see a bride wearing pastels as her mehndi outfit . Similarly this is actually the first time I've seen a bride wearing these shades and they do not look event appropriate at all IMO.

^^And that's exactly my point. Who are we to say she shouldn't have worn the colours she is wearing. To you they are not event appropriate but to her they are. After all it's her day and she can wear whatever she wants. If you think these colours are not for these events then you don't wear them on your wedding.

her mehndi outfit is by Kamiar Rokni, her baraat outfit is by Umar Sayeed (who starts at around 400,000). not sure who did the valima, but i can bet it wasn’t a liberty ka udda

valima one is also by umar saeed n these outfitz are pretty heavy I am sure they are above or near 800,000
