My lil one is now four month old and I've just started on baby food, so far she has had apple and banana mix and mixed veggie.. I tried a mashed banana and she loved it..
ask ur doc, I think they know what to feed babies, plus I've seen that she will eat more when my husband will feed her.. maybe try so that the father or another person feed him sometimes, make feeding look like playing, she loves it when I feed her and play with her..
