Re: Fear
Hope for forgiveness should be well balanced with fear of Allah's punishment. If it was only hope that He will forgive all of our sins, then we'd all continue our lives based on our whims and desires, and "sincerely repent" at the end of the day for that particular sin. If it was only fear then we'd all be in severe depression.
Its so easy to say it but remembering that there is a possibility that we won't make it to tomorrow should really affect the every day decision we make in like.
