Exposure and interaction with these animals. Do it step by step. Maybe first try to not walk away when they approach you. Then go near them yourself. Later you could try to pat them. etc…

If the thought of being around grown/large dogs or cats scares you start with puppies and kittens.. Those cute little faces and the fact they can’t do much (apart from tug on your heart strings!) will soon have you thinking differently.. Once you’ve handled them you’ll be fine..
