Fear of backlash..

Re: Fear of backlash..

Fraudia for an english speaker like UTD your coloured bais is obvious.

Read what i said again. I said average. I did not say terrorists i did not say Al Qaeda. I did not say KKK or Neo Nazis. I said average.

For an american your comprehension skills are very pathetic....wait you are american that explains it.

UTD and Fraudia answer this simple question please:

  1. Muslim killed by american in Afghanistan.
  2. Due to this above cold blooded murder does an average muslim in Turkey kill an american as retribution?

Is the answer yes or no?

Re: Fear of backlash..

ah the simplicity of the choices. :hehe:

Re: Fear of backlash..

CM I don't argue with children. Your broad generalizations and stereotypes of the west are no better than the bigots who judges Muslims as terrorists. Your view that the average Muslim/Arab country does not contain bigots or racists is simply an unrealistic conception you pulled from a turban and not based on reality. Every country has idiots, Arab and Muslims countries are no different, you sheltered little boy.

Christians have been gunned downed while they worship in Pakistan for being Christian.

Gays in several Arab/Muslim counties can be punished by death for being who they are.

Muslims who have converted to Christianity in Arab/Muslim states have been punished for doing so.

In Egypt there are many cases where Christians have been attacked by extremist Muslims.

The list can go on and on.

As far as your question, the Average Muslim doesn't kill Americans and the Average American doesn't kill Muslims, class dismissed.

Re: Fear of backlash..

That has to be the most ill-informed asinine thing… There are attacks on tourists all the time in Egypt. Just a few weeks/months ago a bus was attacked and made international news (the victims were mostly German, if I recall). Every week there are folks taking pot shots at the Nile cruises full of tourists. Etc, etc…

So, on this your own quote serves you best: why do you let ignorance make you look stupid?

Re: Fear of backlash..

Anyway, back on topic…

Of course we have to be concerned about “retaliatory” attacks by ignorant people against the innocent. Just human nature to do stupid things.

But I was really impressed by Ken Livingstone’s speech on the bombings, which drew a completely different conclusion and used morale boosting phrases universes away from what anyone in the Bush administration would give. Forgive me for posting it in its entirety, but it is worth it:

The terrorists will fail. Not because we will hunt them down, smoke them out of their caves or whatever cowboy BS… rather, and quite simply, because we are better!

Re: Fear of backlash..

Same old political BS...Freedom, security, way of life, together in sorrow, liberty e.t.c. e.t.c....

You seem to possess the American slogan of 'might is right'...We are better...

You may be better, but your foes are patient...And in the history of the world, no one has remained 'better'...Not the Pharoahs, not the English and not the Germans...Yout future with other nations depends on how you are with them now...

And sorry to say, the thousands of disfigured and malformed babies due to DU ammo dropped in Iraq paint a vivid picture of how you as a nation should be dealt with in the future...

Re: Fear of backlash..

Dude, get off it… the answer is quite clearly YES. Read the papers. Taking things further than your example–there have been several cases in Germany where Turks (and other Muslims, I remember one with a Moroccan) attack the American soldiers stationed there when they find them in town.. just for being American.

We can do this all day. Everyone has their ****heads. But that still doesn’t turn your rambling into a coherent point.

Re: Fear of backlash..

Lajawab, who exactly is the 'your' you're refering to?

What are you doing to aid the children hurt by the DU you talk about?

For that matter, what are you doing to help the people in Zimbabwe who are having their homes demolished? (That one has nothing to do with gora)

What are you doing to prevent Muslims from killing blacks in Darfur?

Do you "deal with" any of these issues or do you just complain from your position of comfort?

Ken Livingstone has nothing to do with kids in Iraq being deformed by depleted uranium. Your angst is misguided.

Re: Fear of backlash..

^^

I thought you were American spoon...

"What are you doing to aid the children hurt by the DU you talk about?"

DU means Depleted Uranium...Ammunition tips coated with DU material, making it almost as hard as a diamond...The effects of DU range last for more than thousands of years and everywhere the wind blows the DU particles go, and anywhere the DU particles land, anything that grows out of there is radioactive...

Hence the rate of abnormal births in Iraq had risen 20% in 2003...Allah knows how many now...

If I show you the pictures of those babies and stillborn fetuses , you would either want to smile or cry, depending upon whether you are an American or a person with a heart...

Re: Fear of backlash..

Muslims have been gunned downed while they worship in Palestine.

In Palestine there are many cases where Muslims (and Christians) have been attacked by extremist Jews.

In Iraq a countless number of Mosques have been bombed by the occupying American forces.

The list can go on and on.

As for your average American not killing Muslims. Was it not your American Joe or Jane doing all the torturing and killing at Abu Ghraib, and is doing across Iraq?

Re: Fear of backlash..

When American artillery and bombs have killed tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi’s, what do you think it does to their heads and other parts of their bodies? Now you are impatient to carry out the same sort of barbarity against innocents in Iran, and then make pathetic excuses of “collateral damage” later.

Blowing the heads and body parts of innocent Iraqi’s to pieces, is American barbarity at it’s worst, and you denial merchants cannot face upto it.

Re: Fear of backlash..

Yadda yadda blah blah.

Answer the question. Are we discussing homosexuality? Nope. Are we discussing religious difference? No. Are we discussing killing? No.

Its very simple. I am asking is the average american attacked on the street by the local joe for what the US govt is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan?

I must say you americans are pretty retarded as you can’t read a simple sentence but use bigotted assumption to go off on tangents.

The key word is average dumbasses. Since when are terrorists average?

Better yet lets make it more realistic. Post-Sept 11th Australians bombed 2 mosques. Post Sept 11th, some of your average american’s went out and beat up a Sikh because he had a beard and that supposedly defined him as a muslim. (i believe at the end the person died).

Now the question i pose to you retard lot is one again do you see examples of the average muslim in Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan going over and beating up some white guy (as we all know everybody who is white is american  )?

Or have you heard of the average muslim attempting to burn down a church in Pakistan for the crimes by the US in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Re: Fear of backlash..

...so sorry but there isnt a sane "amrikan I know of who would set foot in pakistan. An "average amrikan joe" walking the streets of the "average pakistani town" hmmm... he'd get beat up, beheaded or something like that. Ask any joe you know....wanna come with me to Pak? All expenses paid? come on...

they'll say no thx

Re: Fear of backlash..

Mamaof3 - Odd isn't it then that the amount of americans that go to Pakistan for Mountain climbing has actually increased?

Re: Fear of backlash..

Why are you still living in this country if you have such a low opinion of Americans?

Re: Fear of backlash..

yes they're just trooping to the mountains in droves arent they.

sad, so very sad, that amrikans are justifyably fearful of going there because it COULD be one of the top destinations for travel.

Re: Fear of backlash..

Aishaa

Why are you still following Islam if you have such low opinions of Muslims could be a good counter-argument…

The answer is, there are Americans and there are Americans…

You’re right…I generalized too much here though…I have met very genuinely sympathetic Americans too…

I actually meant the ones on the board (Minus AAG, The Soul Writer…:))…

Re: Fear of backlash..

^ I wish I could generalize as easily about Muslims on this board and how they all fit into one category. The closest I come up with is that those who feign the most piety and shout the loudest about the righteousness of Muslims seem to be the ones lacking heart.

BTW CM, this thread isn’t doing much for your 60% average. :hehe:

Re: Fear of backlash..

More people are going to climb mountains of Pakistan, because the tourism industry is getting more support from Musharraf. Not because people are falling in love with Islam after some crazy arse muslim decides to throw bombs at women and children thinking that they’ll somehow re-establish khalifat that way.

Re: Fear of backlash..

this thread was just to warn muslims of the possible backlash.. there are ignorant ppl every where in the world, amrika and canada are no exception. u have extremism and fundamentalism going on everywhere.
there are terrorist organizations from all the religious background RSS VHP shiv sena in India. LTTE in srilanka, IRA in ireland.
just that u dont hear much about them in the media, doesnt mean there arent any other religious fundamentalists /fanatics in the world.

so if u wear hijab/ abaya or beard plz be careful today. there has been already several death threats sent to various muslim communites living in uk, canada and US.
