I will disagree with you on that, Misbah and Razzaq are two players who have shown such skills time and time again and are much better player than Shoaib Malik.
Thank You Skipper as forgot to mention Razzak in any of my above posts.
Razaak does produce at least one or two inning in a season (or lets say 25 games) where he gets Pak out of trouble by scoring 27 ball 50, But what he also does is in rest of the 24 games(where he gets to play because of that one or two prior innings), a part from not contributing enough with bat,
- leaks runs left and right and destroys any pressure that is getting build from bowling at other end
- 9 times out of ten escortes the ball (Usually a defensive push by batsman for a single) to the boundry.
Is getting all the above worth keeping him side for 20+ games after one/two good games?
Regarding Misbah: Even Waleed Bhai will tell you how amazing talent Misbh is, and I am not denying his ability to score enough runs in any demanding, pressure situation to gets selected for next tour.
Nikema bhai dnt get so over excited with this win of Sialkot under Malik's captaincy ......He has done it many times ........What matters is he should deliver this in the international matches
Regarding Misbah: Even Waleed Bhai will tell you how amazing talent Misbh is, and I am not denying his ability to score enough runs in any demanding, pressure situation to gets selected for next tour.
I agree Razzaq does has not done justice to his abilities but what has Shoaib Malik done of note in International cricket? Abdul Razzaq has several innings of note whether its ODI or Tests. And as for Misbah, please don’t use Waleed as witness otherwise you are going to lose your credibility
