talking about fax machine...what amazes me is that when you fax..if u tap in..u can actually listen to the data flying over telephone wires! just like the old day modems!
Whats even more interesting is that i can hook up a tape recorder to the telephone line, record the transmission, and replay it through my pc fax modem and able to see exactly what kinda data was transmitted, or maybe save it for future use! ;)
