Fawad Khan’s popularity knows no bounds! The Pakistani actor who blew us all away with his brooding prince portrayal in Khoobsurat has also impressed others in the film fraternity to boot. And this time he apparently has found an ardent fan in none other than Karan Johar’ s mum Hiroo Johar.
According to reports on dnaindia.com, the actor has been roped in by KJo to play the character of Lakhan in the remake of the movie Ram Lakhan. The project will be directed by Rohit Shetty and will also star Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra.
Apparently, Karan was impressed with the trio when they were roped in for Shakun Batra’s next movie. Karan was so taken in by the cast that he decided to cast them again in Ram Lakhan , but interestingly the dynamics are quite different this time as Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have apparently been paired as siblings! While it is difficult for us to imagine the dashing Siddharth Malhotra in Jackie Shroff’s shoes, we are curious to see how Fawad Kahn will portray Anil Kapoor’s character. That he gets to woo Alia Bhatt, is a plus!
