I posted this picture just now on my Facebook, my Facebook fan page, twitter and instagram. I got a few comments that I was making “excuses” to be “naked”. I don’t usually respond to idiotic and uneducated remarks I barely even read that crap but I have HAD IT. I just posted this as a reply to one “fan” and im going to post it here. It is my final statement on the matter and im not looking to get into any debate or argument. This is not open for discussion. If you DISAGREE than please block me delete me unlike me switch the channel when I come on TV. Give this a read:
This quote isn’t disregarding any teaching of Islam. It’s simply telling people that no one has the right to pass judgement on a person. A person’s religion, beliefs and relationship with God are PERSONAL. We all go into our own graves and it’s nobody’s place or BUSINESS to put people down on their personal choices. People pick one thing they disagree with and flock towards a person with hatred… I call it hypocrisy. I’ve seen hijabans lie, spread gossip, back bite. I’ve seen devout fast - keeping women be obsessed and want inappropriate relationships with their own step father’s. They go to their graves I go to mine. no one gets to decide whose sin is worse except God. My plea to people is to worry about their own faith, their own adherance to the pillars of Islam, their own conscious as to whether they are good human beings and Muslims or not and leave my Allah to deal with me regarding my sleeveless gowns. I welcome advice I welcome teachings I welcome positive preachings as well but nobody on this planet has been given the authority to decide who is close to their God and who Isnt. Over 7 billion people in the world. Why are some people set on setting MY dressing straight to their own accordance. And for anyone who asks me “well are you not Muslim”? My answer is “I am not answerable to ANYONE on this planet regarding my faith it is NO ONEs business of how much of a Muslim I am except Allah”. My advice to these sudden religious monitors is.. Please focus on the girls who use Burkas to run off with their boyfriends and the phone-snatchers and rapists with beards if your inner perfection of a flawless human being is itching to bash someone. At least I am not making a mockery of the appearance that represents the religion to the fullest. Live and let live. There are far worse criminals in this world. We just have different priorities and they are PERSONAL priorities. And if my clothing is SO offensive that it burns your eyes and ruins your discipline; The unfollow and unlike buttons are readily available (and on that principle you shouldn’t watch 80% of dramas and films in general so why do u even know who i am). While you’re at it (boycotting me) please dislike every single actress who has ever worn sleeveless or shown some leg. Surely these standards can’t just be for me I mean I’m not that special that more was expected from ME than others. I’d rather be who I am, be open about who I am and lose fans than to pretend I’m an absolute angel who follows Islam to perfection (but in reality be an ugly human being who does morally, physically and religiously atrocious things for work and money)- JUST TO GAIN FANS. Like SO many of your favorite onscreen angels do. For me THAT is insulting Islam beyond anything else. To USE it and exploit it for buying public approval and TRP. I leave my acting for the scenes. I can sacrifice popularity but I can not live a lie. DONT put me on a damn pedastal I didnt ask for it. don’t like it? Don’t be my fan. Ushna Shah shouldnt be the focus of your life, go save some other soul.. preferably your own. Allah Hafiz

who cares, if it is coming from those who don’t know abc of good acting. TS = Ushna in this regard
On a serious note, Hina Dilpazeer is a good actress, but she is playing her age most of the times. Badar Khalil played Bee Jamalo (an old lady), when she was in her early 20s. Her performance in Shazad Khalil’s Teesra Kinara as Saba Hameed’s actress mother is one of the performances which is not the part of Hina’s career. Moreover, if you compere Zakia of Ankahi with Hina’s role in Takay ki aae gi barat, Hina was just doing over acting in playing a lady from high class. You know what, Hina can’t play a lady from upper class with such elegance as Badar Khalil has played in Ankahi, Marvi, etc. Hina is playing all these Bihari ladies and mimicking Shabnam, but she still has to go a long way to reach status of Badar Khalil. Even her role in Naseem Hijazi’s Shaheen as a Christian wife of Abu Daud having relationships with royal family, will not be well played by ghareeb o miskeen looking Hina Dilpazeer. Its not that I’m by anyway degrading Hina Dilpazeer, she is one of the most talented actresses Pakistan TV ever had, but Ushna’s assessment is simply flawed.
