No no, I’m not into Bollywood at all and that probably explains why my memory doesn’t remember bumping into any Bollywood star.

If you ask me, they’ve all been pretty well deserved ignores, but most of the time, I’m generally slow to recognise famous faces without make up.

Faisla Quershi was spotted in a local restaurant in Model Town, Lahore, sitting all by himself for a late dinner with his head down and gently tapping his phone on the table while looking clearly lost in his own thoughts. He actually looked quite sad and lonely I must say, but this is 5-6 years old story.

With Jia Ali, we spent good 45 minutes to one hour in the same shoe shop. She did not come across as a pleasant person - very Diva-ish. She literally had like 100 pairs of shoes around her just to signal the message that she’s a star. I did not appreciate how she treated the staff, I reckon those guys couldn’t wait to have her out of their shop.

Ali Zafar - this one is funny. He was just casually strolling on the street at snail’s pace. I looked at him and obviously recognised him. He also realised that, so he kept looking at me with his ‘celebrity face’ on waiting to be approached and personally recognised. But as always, my pride came in the way and I quickly stiffened up my haughty composure and walked past him (while he was under an impression that I am walking towards him) with a straight face like he never existed, lol. It was a very comically awkward situation.

Once we were going to visit my cousin who lived in malir cantt on eid day.You need a pass to enter the gates so, we were waiting at the checkpost and a car parked next to ours.Guess who came out of it? Moin Akhtar accompanied by his servant from drama Such Much.At that time such much was being on aired and we said look Moin Akhtar with his servant.He came out of his car and we had our car doors opened too but, out of shyness none of us dared to go and talk to him.It was no fun ignoring a legend standing just a few inches away.

It must feel like a missed opportunity I guess.

But I wouldn’t feel too bad about. I can be quite shy around new people and I don’t like invading people’s personal spaces. So definitely not that type to approach off duty celebrities no matter what. Your post reminds of the incident when I bumped into Zaheer Abbas (the cricketer), I never saw Zaheer Abbas play but I instantly recognized him. Even though he obviously realised that I know who he is, but I honestly couldn’t bring myself to say or do anything to acknowledge him.

Muqaw is an intelligent member and he’s one of the few mods that I like and respect. He doesn’t need to go into hiding because he can hold his own. There is no need you for you to instigate drama when there is none, TS. It’s actually my fault because I got unnecessarily testy in my response to him and will edit it.

I have no personal enmity towards FK, I felt bad when I read the whole interview and then saw comments on Mahira Khan’s FB that Badar Khalil was sitting on FK’s seat… I was like uski bivi jahez main lai thi wo seat?

I was also upset knowing that Behroz Sabzwari and Asif Raza Mir never looked for her. They are also thankless people, because whatever they are today are due to Shahzad Khalil. He is the man who gave them roles like Qabbacha and Zain in Tanhaiyan. In her words, they stayed in their house. I have known and read Shahzad Khalil. He was just a fatherly figure for new comers. Marina Khan still keeps him in high regard and considering the difficulties Badar Khalil had faced after death of Shahzad Khalil, they should have been at least around her just for goodwill gesture.

I felt bad that such a nice actress and strong lady had to express her experience in such a way. wo shayar ne kaha tha na:

There was something that lead Badar Khalil giving such an interview, which we otherwise don’t expect to be coming from such legends. But I recently read Uzma Gilani’s autobiography, she also expressed similar views about the industry. We know what had happened to Rohi Bano. Khalida Riyasat zinda hoti to wo bhi yehi kuch seh rahi hoti
