**Pakistani born Bollywood actor Fawad Khan demands an astronomical figure to star in a Pakistani movie.**The Pakistani heartthrob demanded a whopping sum of Rs. 2 crore to work in a Lollywood flick. Yeah, you heard me correct. Rs.2 crore!Fawad first courted fame in Pakistan when he became the lead singer of the popular Pakistani rock band EP. later, he ventured into acting and became every girl’s favourite TV actor. Due to his boy-next-door persona and charming good looks, the audience was instantly drawn to him. The drama serial Humsafar made him into one of the biggest stars in Pakistan and established his reputation in India as a talented actor as well.According to reports, soon as Fawad demanded the astronomical figure of 2 crores from a Pakistani director, the director chose to cast Mohammar Rana instead for an affordable Rs.2 lacs. Fawad’s recent success in India might have led him to ask for such a large amount as remuneration. Khoobsurat star acted alongside Sonam Kapoor and the movie was well received in India, along with Fawad’s acting. Not only that but Fawad was able to notch up a Filmfare award for Best Actor-Debut (Male). Bollywood rumors and gossip talks indicate that the handsome star might have successfully caught the eye of big name producers, directors and would sign high budget projects in the near future.Another Pakistani actor who also started out as a musician and then ventured into Bollywood films is Ali Zafar. TV people are getting paid 25-30 lakh per show so I guess the jump should be expected especially if he’s set a specific amount for all projects whether local or international (1 Crore for india). If this is the project in question then I don’t think he would be doing it for all the money in the world.

Unlike other professionals who always end up getting raise over time/experience, Actors and Pro Athletes have very short shelf life. In case of actors, its even shorter (exceptions apply of course). They might keep on playing/working after that life but they will not be able to earn as much. Whats wrong if he is trying to maximize his earning when sun is shinning. Sun sets on actors pretty quickly. Let him make some money while he is at hump of his bell curve.

Thinks he's a big shot now acting all prestige. Probably got directors/producers both from Pakistan and India lined up at his door now.
Ngl though, he's a great actor.

No it is not. But film business in Pakistan is not successful enough as yet to afford such a salary, not even for the main actors in a relatively high budget movie.
