Am thinking of getting the Herstyler or the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers..
Has anyone used either of these or have any recommendations for others?
Can’t decide between the two at the moment (the Herstyler below combines all 3 diff sizes but there are cheaper versions at lower prices like the rollers)
I have very straight hair so its hard for my hair to hold curls no matter how much hairspray i put. the only way my hair holds them is if i use a straightener/flat iron to curl it. i have tried many hot rollers and curling irons and none of them really work for me, my hair goes back to being straight in a couple of hours. the only way my curls last is when i use a straightener to curl it! (i learned about this when my stylist used it to curl my hair for my wedding using this). so if your hair is very straight, look into that.
hot rollers are good for creating nice voluminous waves for my hair, but not curls.
^Heated rollers tend to be better at creating volume + large loose curls but tongs are often better at creating tighter or more defined curls.. there are exceptions to that of course.. that’s speaking very generally..
Just found another product that looks v.similar to the Herstyler so going to consider this one as well.. It creates curls in seconds like the first tong I mentioned but is cheaper :
I love seeing the immediate results you get from tongs but up till now I’ve had extensions in my hair which are synthetic and couldn’t be used with that much heat..
I want FAST curls.. I’m not one of those girls who’s happy to walk around town with rollers in her hair or sleep with them in overnight
Bella, there's a product called 'Lottabody' which is meant to be AMAZING at helping hair hold curls.. even hair which normally never can..
Mine has a slight natural wave to it but goes straight as soon as I run a brush thru it..
i have tried so many different hairsprays and products, but even then it doesn't hold if i use a curling iron or hot rollers. using a straightener works really good to create curls that last even till the next day, so that what i use to curl. i use hot rollers when i want to make it wavy and voluminous. if your hair is slightly wavy, then it might hold curls better than mine. it also depends on the texture, mine is sleek and straight. also, you should wash your hair the day before if you're going to curl it. freshly shampooed hair doesn't hold curls at all (for me atleast).
I recently got conair infinity pro , generally known as a twister I think and it's awesome , my hair never used to hold curl and secondly I'm not good with things like blow drying etc, poor right left hand coordination if u know what I mean , but this device is awesome , easy to use, light weight, I can do it with one hand, curls are pretty good just need hair spray afterwards to hold it in place for 2 days ,of course next day won't be perfect after sleeping on it over night , just have to be careful to use small sections and tangle free hair... Love it would definitely recommend it .

Have you ladies used nume wands?!? They always have specials on them and I am almost tempted to splurge but me and curling wands are not the best combo.
^Love the Herstyler wand and attachments but the straightener was only so-so for me..
I was a bit wary of burning my hand as others have warned about but that hasn't been an issue for me at all.. I've found it really easy to use and it creates perfect curls really quickly..
NuMe is an amazing product. bit pricey but you can look for a code online that offers major discounts. my hair is normally really frizzy and dry but when i use the tongs (titan 3) it is silky and shiny, curls hold for a long time too.
yeah they do have amazing reviews and I know about their great deal on mother's day but I'm in the UK and it's going to be adding to the cost of the shipping and customs, that's what I'm worried about. Not to mention returns and the after-sales service. Would prefer something that is already available in the UK.
