Re: Favourite dog

My top 3 choices.

  1. German Shepherd (because I used to have one (a white one) when I was little)
  1. Siberian Husky (I saw one in Paris walking on the bank of river Seine and it was a very beautiful dog, it came right up to me to be stroked and i couldn’t resist)
  1. Chow Chow (my husband just showed me and I think it’s the most cutest dog in the world, it looks like a teddy bear)

have a look:

Re: Favourite dog

I'm not so sure what breed our fammily dog is... it looks like an ancient wolf, Long time ago our ancestors kept these wolf like dogs as guards and for hunting I think the nearest dog i have seen that resembles it is the Japanese Akita, or perhaps a very large Anatolian Sheperd...

I love all wolf like dogs becuase they are among the most ancient breeds... coincedantally somone Hareem mentioned the Chow Chow as a bear like dog and that is very accurate becuase it has Ersine features particulalry an extra pair of teeth compared to all other dogs... it looks like an oversized wolf with a bears pugnacious face.

I think all these ancient breeds come from the Tibetan region originally and our ancestors bought them across the steppes and it explains why the fammily guard dogs where supposedly bought from Kashmir area.

I have been to a lot of places in this world but nowhere do they have a mongrel like the ones we seem to have had back home... it's much more pet like than the Bully Kutta so commonly kept as a fighting dog... our wolf like dog is just so much better....

When I was little I used to be forever guarded by one....
