Frans of GS,
please post a bit about your favorite apps/any other tools that help you organize and manage your work and personal productivity.
besides the apps, what is your approach to staying on top of it all?
muchas gracias!

Re: Favorite Productivity Apps/Tools
I’ve listed the apps I use in many other threads, you go look for them Queer :snooty:. Don’t be making me hard work in my roza :(.
But to answer your question about what approach I use to stay on top of things: Well, I make lists for everything. I use Astrid Tasks and Tasks free (which is synced with my calendar). Astrid is a stand alone. I have daily tasks on that that pop up separately. More like quick reminders without a particular time allotted to it. If you’ve read Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, there are 4 quadrants he talks about for time management. Astrid kinda helps you deal with what is important but not urgent (at least that is what I use it for).
Here, look at this:
http://www.brefigroup.co.uk/acrobat/quadrnts.pdf or Time Management Matrix by Stephen Covey – Urgent vs Important | Sid Savara
My thing is that if I have a task on my mind, I write it down. Can’t keep so many things floating in my head otherwise there will be a khichri.
I’ve also used Mind Mapping apps to develop an idea further and implement it.
Re: Favorite Productivity Apps/Tools
I have 5 diff email accounts. each has its own use. all are synched to my phone. That is pretty much my life line.
other than that, my calendar and contacts on my iphone and that are backed up by Google.
Re: Favorite Productivity Apps/Tools
And oh, with the Air Droid app, it's really easy to manage what's going on inside your phone life :D!
Re: Favorite Productivity Apps/Tools
I mostly use tasks, email myself and voice notes specially if I m stuck at work with development and light bulb comes on with an idea. I have to do something otherwise I would forget.
