K G
Dil walay to dulaniya lay bhi gae. abb to "Kuch khuch hota hai" jab bhi "Dil se" "Silsalay" shoroo karte hain to log kehtay hain keh "Dil to pagal hai" laikin "Pyar to hona hi tha" :)
UnLimited... :)hahahaha very clever!
i have tons of fav indian movies:
Kabhi Kabhi
Naseeb
MPK
HAHK
DDLJ
DTPH
JPKHH
PKTDK
KKHH
QSQT
Coolie
Mela
Pakeezah
Mohra
Aaina
HHRPK
AHAT
etc, etc, etc :)
Oho!! Short forms. really bad with them.
Lekin jee, buss KKHH has gone beyond boundaries, DDLJ was my favourite until now but KKHH ko dekh key KKH gaya!!
Umer Talib ji... :)hahaha sorry about writing in "short form". :)
personally, i think HAHK is the best. it was the first non violence family drama/love story. nothing beats that movie. :)
i think all the others just kinda copied... :)sorry, that's just my opinion.
and KKHH is great! lekin don't you think it's a mixture of "sleepless in seattle" and "DTPH"? :)
smile : you are a walking dictionary for indian movies and pakistani dramas.
My fav movie was Dil waley Dulhania Lay gain gey.
Later
Zman
hmmm...
Sleepless in Seattle, I dunno about,
but DTPH yes, some parts, but you know what, I don't mind cuz both of them are Yash Raj movies. My personal choice would be this one over the others. Kajol was remarkable, and there's no need for nominations this yera, it's a straight go to Kajol for best actress and the movie for the best movie.
Cheers :)
Hmmmm,
My choices r;
Dil Tow Pagal Hai,
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,
Dushman,
Darr,
Dil-se,
& the funny one "Andaz Aapna Aapna"
:)& :)
Umar Talib ji... really? you don't see the similarity between "sleepless..." and "kkhh"? well, maybe it's just me then, but his daughter trying to reunite him with kajol just reminded me of the little boy trying to set up Hanks. :)okay, maybe it's a stretch but the idea is similar! :)
and you're right kajol is a great actress. i think her best work can be seen in "kkhh" and in "dushman".
zman ji... :)i'll take what you said as a compliment! :)hahahahaha
samreen ji... 'andaz aapna aapna' was hilarious. :) actually i like all salman khan movies, he's my fav. :)
Kashmiri girl

"IT TITANIC WAS MADE IN URDU/INDIAN MOVIE"
* There would be ten times as many people on the ship.
there would have been a song with a girl wearing a white dress, singing
in the rain.
By the end of the movie he would find his mom, dad, sister and brother.
It would be seven and a half hour's long.
The movie would be called"DOOBTA HUA PYAR"
Kate Winslet would be played by madhuri Dixit and DiCaprio by
shirtless Salman khan.
The boat would sink because there would be too many people on board.
None of the people would float for long 'cause of sari's.
They would be serving Mango fruity on board.
*wait a minute. It was an Indian movie and if you think aboutit.
And
Can you imagine how many times we would hear,"BACHAOOOOO!!!"
PS:The hero, heroine, his mom, dad, sister and brother would float in the
cold water for days and yet survive, the villian would drown after the
first plunge.
SK jee
Do ya think your in the political forum hunh?
Born in Azad Kashmir and the majority of my family lives there to this day. My grandfather fought to free Pakistan and he voted for kashmir to go with Pakistan in 1947. To this day he refuses to eat at an Indian restaurant, watch movies or hear the songs. However, my cousins and I sit watch channel Zee (with some channel V too) all the time when I was there.
By not watching Indian movies what the heck will that do to help with a political situation that has nothing to do with people and everything too do with two countries’ animosity and the British egging it on.
Political activism, publicity of the situation and a lot of volunteer work and money donations both here in the USA, UN, Pakistan and in AZAD Kashmir will do a whole lot more than by me saying "main tho hindi films dekhthi naheen hoon".
NOW!!!!

Dear KashmiriGirl,
I dunno about watching it on video. I watched it in the theatre, and boy! was that something. Why didn't anyone mention Khamoshi (the new one!), I loved that one too. These are the only two movies that I stood up to clap for at the end of the show. Was a little embarassed at first but then the whole crowd joined in. Aur waisey bhi, I did what my heart said.
Acchaa jee,
Ciao.
oyeah !!
DDLJ and lahmhay these are the only two movies i like and about
KKHH i think was a stupid boring movie . had same old story and same old stupid hero ( shahrukh khan ) and all that indian crap stuff " hum eek bar martay hain , eek bar jitay hain , shahdi bhi eek he bar hoti hay " hahahahahaha!!!!!!! what a stupid and boring dialoge any way that oxford babe was SEXY AND AND AND HORNY AND..GROSSSSSS... There you go, all time fav's!
Laterz
kashmiri girl,
Allah bless your grandfather. By watching their shit youre just helping their economy, it has nothing to do with political activitism.
Anyways, its still very funny.
shahrukh khan? ha I laugh at him. He is the shortest fagit I ever saw. 5 feet 7 inches? Damn that's a woman height. Anybody could whup his short ass.
My all time favorite movie is Sholay starring Amitabh & Dharmendra.
This film brought revolution in the industry. Today's indian movies with all the latest technology available couldn't even come close to what they did some 25 years ago with limited technology. Story, script, dialogues, acting, picturization etc. were all unbelievable.
so long...
Ya, Sholay is Sholay!
No matter how many times you see that movie.
Gabbar Singh, Veeru & Jai with the Thakur.
A definite classic of all times!
