Ok my favourite halwa is hmm I forgot the name, it's green coloured and soooo delicious, pata nahi kya naam tha I'll ask my mom. Then it's definitely sooji ka halwa and the third one is gajar one.

i dont like to eat any kind of halwas. so when someone insists, i have to struggle to swallow it. although, do my best to avoid.

I second that. During my pregnancy it was like the best NY cheescake to me. But I had to wean myself off of it if i want to fit into my clothes again.

Mahru, i am sure habshi halwa must be available in US. Its available online and i did saw few recipes online as well.
