Favorite free email service

Which free email service do you like and why?

I loved hotmail before gmail since it was my first email in 1994. Now I love gmail because I use an android phone and it integrates everything so beautifully into Google now…

Love seeing the cards…

Your turn…

Re: Favorite free email service

It was hotmail. Now its gmail but my primary address is still hotmail.
add two gmail accounts to phone...you got total of 30GB google drive :D

Re: Favorite free email service

Yep. Hotmail is still my primary. I use yahoo for junk mail and gmail for other stuff like mail lists.

Cool. Good to know that!!

Gmail it is. I have three Gmail accounts and one hotmail account. One of my Gmail account is nothing but a backup of my other email accounts, so every inbox mail automatically gets forwarded to that backup account. In that way, if I ever have to search for any email, I can do one stop searching.

Re: Favorite free email service

hotmail for my personal email and gmail for my work/business email.

Re: Favorite free email service

Gmail! Space is awesome

Re: Favorite free email service

gmail ...i've stopped using others

Re: Favorite free email service

I would have stopped it as well but my hotmail account is what everyone has since the college days.

Re: Favorite free email service

^^People do have the ability to learn new addresses JK :)

My primary is Gmail these days, even though I have a few personal domains. Its safer (Read the recent Twitter "@N" account take over). I still do have all my other service accounts (hotmai, yahoo, aol et al) and they all forward to Gmail. So like TLK I have one place I can search historical communications.

Re: Favorite free email service

They do but all of my old friends from childhood days still have that address and when they change their addresses they know they can find me there....

Re: Favorite free email service

You don't have to give the old ones up to get new ones. Start giving the new one out. If i worried about "old" friends then my email address would still be "[email protected]"

Re: Favorite free email service

LMAO! That would work....

Re: Favorite free email service

gmail. i abuse the tag and archive capabilities to the max. i wish they would roll out the "save to google drive" options soon.

used to be yahoo mail, but of late it has gone real amateurish - interface changes, buttons that refuse to work, alleged dropbox integration that never works..

Re: Favorite free email service

Gmail. Hotmail (Outlook.com) has gotten much better in recent years but I have that set to forward any incoming messages to my Gmail account. I use Hotmail as a bit of a throwaway account.

For Gmail, I have the account I've kept since highschool as well as another one I used for job hunting. I also have a third throwaway Gmail account.

I also use my university email from time to time.

Re: Favorite free email service

Yes, melissa mayer has been more looks than doing anything else for Yahoo. Still, I have been loathe to let go of yahoo as I don’t like the GUI of gmail.

Who knows as I could just dust off my old aol handle as my primary address? :hmmm:
